Qualifications & Requirements
- We are ideally seeking a commerce graduate with 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) or Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Generate purchase orders
- Process invoices and verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable / receivable records
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received and appropriate documentation before issuing payment to vendors
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and aging prior to payment
- Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
- Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables / Receivables
- Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing, and tax purposes
- Protect businesses against unintentional overpayment
- Bank Reconciliation
- Tracking expenses against the Department budget
