Data Engineer

The Data Engineer falls into the Analytics & Business Intelligence area at CoreStack. We transform data form various sources such as MongoDB, Excel, Third party API to SQL using Azure Data factory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design destination relational data model based on source No-SQL model
- Design Azure data factory pipeline for transforming data
- Develop Data transformation pipelines including custom pipelines using custom code to transform data efficiently and effectively
- Perform Data Governance activities such as clean up, reconciliation, backup, and archival
- Develop required stored procedures to complete pipeline activities
Experience and Skills
- Technical degree at least 4+ years of IT experience
- Minimum 3 year of experience in Data Engineering which includes custom data transformation
- Good hands on experience with Azure Data Factory and SQL
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Python/Dotnet to perform custom transformation
- Good understanding of NoSQL databases like MongoDB would be added advantage
